How Much Is a Weed Cart in Los Angeles?

On September 28, 2026, a 1 gram weed cart on our Sylmar menu cost between $20 and $75, tax included. The middle price on that September menu was $42.

Most carts on that September menu cost $40 to $50. The oil inside, the brand and the size decide where a cart lands in that range.

What did a weed cart cost on our menu in September 2026?

We went through the Sylmar menu on September 28 and wrote down every vape price. It listed 34 carts of 1 gram each.

On that September menu, Allswell carts were the cheapest at $20, Raw Garden live resin carts cost $42, and ROVE carts cost $48 to $50. The top price on the same September menu was $75, for a Heavy Hitters Ultra Diamond cart.

Pods are a separate category, since a pod fits only its own brand’s battery. STIIIZY half gram pods cost $19 to $21 on the September 28 menu. Our September menu priced 1 gram pods from several brands at $33 to $50.

A battery cost $20 to $35 on our September menu. You buy it once and use it with every cart that fits.

Why does one cart cost almost four times another?

The oil. Distillate is refined until it is almost all THC, then flavored. Live resin starts with flower frozen right after harvest, so it tastes more like the plant, and it costs more.

The brand. Each brand sets its own price, and the gap between brands can be wide. Two 1 gram carts from Allswell and Raw Garden were $22 apart on our September menu.

The size. A half gram costs less up front but more per gram. A half gram STIIIZY pod was $19 on our September menu, which works out to $38 a gram.

The 1 gram STIIIZY pods started at $33 on the same September menu, so the bigger pod cost less per gram.

Is tax included in the price of a cart?

On our Sylmar menu, yes. The Sylmar listing on Weedmaps says taxes are included in the price.

California charges a 15% cannabis excise tax on retail sales, according to the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA). That rate has applied since October 1, 2025.

Sales tax applies too, the CDTFA says. Medical patients skip the sales tax when they show a state Medical Marijuana Identification Card with a valid ID.

Local cannabis taxes change from city to city. Our post on what cannabis in Los Angeles costs after tax walks through how the layers add up.

If you shop from any other menu, look for a line that says whether tax is in the price or added at checkout.

How can you pay less for a weed cart?

Divide the price by the grams in the tank to compare two carts of different sizes.

Buy a half gram when a strain is new to you. It costs the least to find out you do not like it.

Pick distillate for everyday use, and save live resin for the nights when flavor comes first. Plenty of our regulars have one of each.

Store carts upright, at room temperature, out of a hot car. Heat thins the oil and pushes it past the seal.

Where can you see today’s cart prices?

Prices change as the shelf does, so treat the September numbers above as a snapshot. Each of our four stores in Los Angeles has its own menu, so check the store you plan to visit.
