Counter 02

Pre-rolled joints.

No grinder, no papers, no fuss.

Some nights you just want to light it. We carry singles, multi packs and infused pre-rolls from California brands at all four stores.

What makes a good one

A pre-roll is only as good as what went in it.

Whole bud, ground even, sealed properly.

The good ones use whole bud or trimmed nug, ground evenly so it burns the same from the first draw to the last.

The cheap ones use shake, stems and leftover trim, and you can taste it in about four seconds. An uneven burn, a harsh draw and a weak finish are all the same problem wearing different hats.

We buy from brands that take the rolling seriously. The flower inside is lab tested and properly cured, the paper burns clean, and the pack is sealed so it is not dried out by the time it reaches you. Open one of ours and it should smell like the strain on the label.

Store the rest of a pack sealed in its own tube or tin, somewhere cool and out of the sun. Loose in a bag is how a good joint gets crushed and stale.

What we carry

  • Singles. One joint, usually half a gram to a gram, for one session without buying a pack.
  • Multi packs. Threes, fives and sevens. Better value per joint if you already know the strain you like.
  • Infused. Coated or filled with concentrate as well as flower. Much stronger, and not where a first timer should start.
  • Minis and blunts. Shorter formats and heavier wraps, depending on what is in that week.
Formats

Three kinds, and who each one is for.

Picking one

Three questions that get you there.

01

Regular or infused?

If you are new to this, regular. Infused pre-rolls are considerably stronger and they hit sooner.

02

One or a pack?

Single for a strain you have not tried. A pack once you know you will buy it again.

03

Which strain?

Same as loose flower. Evening leans indica, daytime leans sativa, hybrid sits between.

The pack in your pocket is the one you actually smoke.

Rolling takes flower, a grinder, papers, a tip and a flat surface. On a Tuesday at eight in the evening that is five steps between you and sitting down. A pre-roll is none of them, which is the entire reason this counter is one of the busiest in all four rooms.
Before you buy

Questions about pre-rolls.

Anything about a specific product is answered fastest by the store that has it on its shelf.

What is inside a Caña pre-roll?

Lab tested, properly cured California flower, ground for an even burn and rolled in clean burning paper. Infused pre-rolls also carry concentrate.

Are infused pre-rolls stronger?

Considerably. The added concentrate pushes them well past what flower alone would give you. Start with a regular pre-roll if you are new or have a low tolerance.

What pack sizes do you carry?

It varies by brand and by store. Threes, fives and sevens are the common ones, and every pack prints its total weight and joint count on the label.

Can I mix strains in one order?

Yes. Add as many different pre-rolls to a cart as you like, across singles and packs.

How do I keep them fresh?

Sealed in their own tube or tin, cool, and out of direct sun. Loose in a bag is how they get crushed and dry.
